In an old house in Paris there were 12 little girls the smallest one was Madeline

Madeleine cookies are a mash up of 2 great treats (cookies and cake)  coated in powdered sugar, yum! (How do the French stay sooo thin, but seriously ?) These French treats were one of my favorites when I was little so I thought I would whip some up (And by whip-up  I mean set aside an entire afternoon and slave away in the kitchen so I could enjoy these delicious morsels). I had some fall inspired pans and thought they would make cute madeleine molds. I  made regular and mini size madeleines. ENJOY!

Like Bees to Honey

When Jack Frost starts nipping at your nose fight that chapped feeling you get with a honey, cinnamon and nutmeg mask. This organic mask soothes irritated skin, while the honey hydrates and moisturizes your skin. You may want to try this mask if you are feeling overly stressed, because these scents calm your olfactory bulbs, while simultaneously killing bacteria that causing blemishes (I know I should be a spokesperson for Neutrogena-But seriously if Vanessa Hudgens can do I definitely can! Let’s Be Serious here ). It’s also great for coin slot dryness… (if you didn’t get that joke please watch this. This was back when Lindsay Lohan wasn’t addicted to meth/cocaine/ alcohol or in need of serious dental reconstructive surgery).

Honey Mask

1 tablespoon of honey

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

Leave the mask on for 30 minutes then wash off with warm water.

Color of the month

Say boo-bye to October and gobble gobble to No Shave November! Celebrate this month by sporting some orange hues. As the days get shorter and day light savings kicks in, brighten up the dark dull days with some orange accents! Think you can’t rock this months color? Try integrating it into your wardrobe in small ways like; your nail polish, jewelry or scarves. Try matching these cheery orange tones with a polished champagne tone.
